Privacy Policy: ADHD Routine Runner
Effective date: 2026-10-16 App: ADHD Routine Runner, shown on the phone as "Routine Runner" (com.sonith.routinerunner), version 0.1.0 Developer: Sonith Contact: sonythm@gmail.com
Short version
The app keeps everything on your phone. It has no account, no server, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. It makes no network calls. The Android internet permission is blocked in the app. The developer receives no data from the app.
Network use
The app does not request the Android INTERNET permission (it is blocked in the app configuration). The source code contains no network requests. There are no hosts the app contacts. The font (Sora) is bundled inside the app.
What the app stores on your device
- Your routines: names, icons, colours, steps and their names, minutes, sounds, schedule days and times.
- Run history: when each run started and finished, planned and actual minutes, and whether each step was done or skipped.
- Settings: sounds, vibration, large text, focus mode, quiet hours, notification choices, demo mode.
- Pictures you choose for picture steps. A copy of the chosen photo is saved in the app's private storage.
- The state of a run in progress, so it can resume if the app closes.
The app does not ask for names, ages, accounts or any information about a person. A parent may write a child's routine ("Kids bedtime"), so routine and step names can describe a child. This data is held in a local database and files private to the app. Other apps cannot read it under normal Android rules. The app does not add its own encryption.

Permissions
- Notifications (optional): shows your own scheduled routine reminders with a Start button, and the "time is up" alert when a step ends while the app is not open. If you decline, those do not appear and everything else works.
- Run at start-up (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, added by the notifications library): so reminders come back after the phone restarts.
- Photos: the app uses the Android photo picker so you can pick a picture for a step. The app only receives the picture you select.
- Audio: the app plays one short soft sound when a step runs over. It declares Android's modify-audio-settings permission to lower other audio briefly, and the foreground service media playback permissions that come with the audio library. It does not record sound.
- Vibration, wake lock and keep-awake: a light vibration at overtime and keeping the screen on during a run. Not personal data.
- Blocked in the app: internet, camera, microphone.
- Focus mode works inside the app only. It does not ask for Do Not Disturb access.
Notifications
Reminders show the routine name. "Time is up" alerts show the step name, for example "Brush teeth: time is up". Lock screens can show these to anyone who sees your phone. You can turn notifications off in the app or in Android, or hide sensitive content on the lock screen.
Sharing
The app shares nothing by itself. If you use "Export history as file", the app creates a CSV file of your runs and opens the Android share sheet. Where it goes is your choice, and the destination app's own policy applies.
Backups
Android may include app data in its own device backup (for example Google backup) if you have turned that on in your device settings. That is controlled by you and your device provider, not by this app.
Analytics and ads
None. No advertising, tracking, analytics or crash-report libraries are used.
Deleting your data
- Delete a routine inside the app.
- Settings, "Delete all data" erases routines, history and settings from the app's database and cancels reminders.
- Copies of step pictures and any exported CSV file are stored as files in the app's private storage. "Delete all data" does not remove them in the current version. Clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling removes them. VERIFY ON DEVICE.
- A CSV you exported and sent elsewhere is a copy held by that app. Delete it there.
The developer holds no copy, so there is nothing to request from the developer.
Children
The app is not directed at children. It has no accounts, no ads, no chat and no online features, and it collects no information. Children may use it with a parent's help, for example with picture steps. The parent sets up and manages the routines and the data on the phone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at the same address with a new effective date.
